Description
Brigit knows all the old songs and legends by heart : of Neve, the daughter of the sea god; of the warrior Finn MacCool; and of people who are not quite human. Lyrics people in the village sing, but no one believes. Brigit knows the truth, though. It's evident in the webbing between her fingers. She's the daughter of a selkie. A secret she must keep from everyone. Even kin like cousin Margaret and that new friendly boy Peter.
But there is another secret growing in the village. A terrible one that will invite the wrath of the Great Selkie. To protect those she loves, Brigit will have to find a way to Sule Skettie, the glittering land of the selkies, and bring the truth--all of it--out into the light.
