Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a library card?
Any Crawford County resident is eligible to get a free library card. This card enables you to check out materials from all nine libraries in the Crawford County Federated Library System. All you need is a photo ID (so we can verify who you are) and a piece of mail with your name and current address (so we can verify where you live).

Can I return books from another library at Meadville?
If you checked the book out from any one of the nine CCFLS member libraries you can return them at MPL or any of the other libraries in the county. Please note that this typically only applies to books and audio books, DVDs and other materials need to be returned inside at the library from which they were checked out.

How do I login to my online account?
Your login is your library card number and your Password is your last name (in all lower case letters). This will give you access to your account to renew books and place them on hold.

How do I log in to Access PA/Power Library?
To access Power Library you need to enter your library card number along with the Meadville Library POWER Code. Not sure what that is? Look for a blue sticker on your library card. No blue sticker? Stop by the Main Desk.
