Enjoy FREE Lunch on Weekdays!
Free lunch is available on the top floor of the Meadville Public Library for all children and teens from age 2 to 18 (and for those with disabilities 21 and under), and accompanying adults. The Campfire Cafe lunch program runs from June 10 - August 16, and lunch is served every weekday from 12 pm - 1 pm. Lunches must be eaten on site. All lunches are made in a nut free facility and meats are turkey-based. Throughout the summer we'll have community partners (Crawford County Drug & Alcohol Executive Commission, Crawford County Assistance Office, & more!) in the space connecting folks to local resources while hosting fun activities.
Children's lunches are prepared by Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit 5 through the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Adult lunches are prepared by Family & Community Christian Association supported by the Kiwanis Club of Meadville. We also want to give a HUGE thanks to Flick's TV & Appliance for donating a fridge for the expansion of the lunch program.
