A resume is a short document used to summarize a job seeker’s experience and qualifications for a prospective employer. A resume includes the job seeker’s contact information, work experience, education, and relevant skills in support of a job application.
Your resume is arguably the single most important part of the application process. A well-organized, relevant resume will set you up to get an interview, while a poor resume will get completely lost in the sea of applicants.
Once you have the interview, you need to be able to make a good impression and answer the interviewer’s questions, as well as ask job-related questions of your own.
