LEVEL 3. Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry bring Tabby and Zeke to the library for a special storytime.

When Mr. Putter decides to get a pet, he finds the perfect cat in Tabby, and together they find joy and beauty throughout the seasons, from playing in the tulip garden during the spring to listening to opera music in the winter.

When he gets too old to climb up the ladder, Mr. Putter and his cat Tabby figure out an ingenious way to pick pears for pear jelly.

Mr. Putter and Tabby go to their neighbor's house to make soup, but Zeke the dog makes it very difficult for them.

While enjoying autumn weather and activities, Mr. Putter, realizing how much he misses going to school, takes his cat Tabby, their adventurous neighbor, Mrs. Teaberry, and her cake-loving dog Zeke to "Show and Tell."
