• a sample rc.local file for OpenBSD. In order to start squid, squidGuard, and/or DansGuardian, you need to add entries to your /etc/rc.local as in this example.
• Sample Crontabs This folder contains examples of admin's and root's crontabs.
• DansGuardian directory This folder contains examples of DansGuardian's lists and configuration file. Note the "restart" script, which I use to restart DansGuardian quickly after making changes.
• Remoteupdates directory Contains sample scripts to be used to update multiple servers from a centralized ftp server.
• Router-root-bin directory Samples of scripts to be run from root's crontab. They are:
  • copysquidguardfiles: Copies squidGuard's and the smutscript's lists to a folder accessible by remote servers via ftp.
  • regen-squid-cache: Regenerates the squid cache (see appendixD)
• The smutscript Contains sample files for the smutscript, which I use to monitor squid's logs for sites that should be added to our custom blacklist.
• Squid-Files Contains files located in /etc/squid. A copy of our squid.conf file, the original (and heavily documented) squid.conf file, and the data folder, which contains lists of urls that we use to limit particular workstations to certain websites.
• Squid-Report Directory When run from admin's crontab, the squid-report.sh script mails you a report of the squid cache's activity.
• squidGuard files This directory contains samples of our squidGuard blacklists and logs.
