Spring may officially be here, but as I write this the snow is blowing and the temperature is 28 degrees. There are signs though, the daffodils are trying to bloom, the birds are singing, and the sun feels warmer.099

This year we will once again be planting and tending to the library’s gardens. Budget cuts have eliminated our landscaping budget so what we do for the grounds all depends on the generosity of our patrons! Between now and the end of May we will be collecting funds to pay for flowers, fertilizer, seeds etc to help maintain and beautify the grounds of the Meadville Public library. Please stop by and give us your spare change or dollars to help make this little part of Meadville bloom! I promise the more you give the earlier spring will come! (Unfortunately we got that piece of advice from Phil so don’t sue if we got it wrong!)
