Marion Dane Bauer
Marion Dane Bauer writes for both young children and young adults. She also teaches fiction writing to young adults. On My Honor, a fiction book aimed at 9-12 year olds, was named a Newbery Honor Book in 1987. Her newest books are from the Wonders of America series. “This new series is written for first- and second-grade level readers to read to themselves or as read alouds for younger children. The series opens with two of our greatest national wonders, Niagara Falls and The Grand Canyon.”
Her birthday is November 20th!
