Eric A. Kimmel
Eric A. Kimmel says that he wanted to be a writer from the time he was a kindergartner. Besides being a writer, he has worked as a teacher and a librarian. He says “his first love is sharing stories from different countries and cultures.” He was awarded a Caldecott Honor Medal for his book Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins.
His birthday is October 30th!
