If you are interested in attending this free class on how to check out eBooks from Overdrive to your eReader, please sign up at the Main Desk. Each class is limited to four students and this is a great way to learn how to download from our eStacks!

This week MPL will be offering free computer classes. These informative classes are available to all patrons regardless of computer experience. These educational classes will build a foundation starting with the very basics of computer knowledge. You will be able to learn how to get connected to the World Wide Web and ways to surf the Internet.

Class Schedule:

Tuesday, January 14th from 5:30 – 6:30 P.M.
Thursday, January 16th from 5:30 – 6:30 P.M.
Saturday, January 18th from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M.

Starting today, the Young Adult section has Xbox 360 games that you can check out. You have to have an adult card (7th grade and up). The games go out for four days and you can only check out one game at a time. For all the rules, see the Game Binder or game case.

To find what games we currently have available, stop by the Fiction department or search our catalog, select advanced search and choose “Video Games”.

Starting on November 1st, a Sony eReader device will be available for checkout on an adult library card at MPL. If anyone is interested in checking out this device and would like to learn more about using it, there will be classes offered on Monday, October 21st and Tuesday, October 29th from 5:30 – 6:30PM. This class is free and available to anyone who is interested in learning how to download free ebooks from Overdrive to our new device!
