Adult, Children’s, and Young Adult Summer Reading Clubs start on June 8th! Visit http://src.meadvillelibrary.org for more details, including schedules of special events and activities.
You can now renew your checked out materials via our online catalog at http://catalog.ccfls.org. Just log into your account and click on Renew next to the material you want to renew. Most items can be renewed twice. If you do not see the “Renew” link next to the item in your list of checkouts then you cannot renew it. This means you have either reached the renewal limit for the item or someone has placed a reserve on it.
MPL will be offering a book club for young adults, Alphabetical Book Club for Teens. Meetings will be held on the 2nd Monday of each month from 6:00-7:00PM. Stop by the Fiction desk for more information.
Last year, over 600 children and teens participated in our Summer Reading Club program. This Summer, we want to engage our community in helping to make it even more successful. An individual, association, club or business who donates goods, services, discount coupons or money towards the Summer Reading Club will receive a receipt for Federal Tax Exemption. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance workers will once again be available to help the public with free tax assistance at the Meadville Public Library. Beginning February 2nd, volunteers will be available six days a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30-5:00; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 7:00; Saturdays 12:00-4:00.
