MPL will be offering a book club for young adults, Alphabetical Book Club for Teens. Meetings will be held on the 2nd Monday of each month from 6:00-7:00PM. Stop by the Fiction desk for more information.
Last year, over 600 children and teens participated in our Summer Reading Club program. This Summer, we want to engage our community in helping to make it even more successful. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance workers will once again be available to help the public with free tax assistance at the Meadville Public Library. Beginning February 2nd, volunteers will be available six days a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30-5:00; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 7:00; Saturdays 12:00-4:00. The program runs through April 11th. VITA is a free tax preparation service for residents of Meadville who made $50,000 or less in 2014.
